Joshua Goodman is a Rio de Janeiro-based reporter covering Latin America for Bloomberg News. Between 2009-2012 he was the editor in charge of overseeing Bloomberg's coverage of the region's politics and economics.
Joshua has spent more than a decade reporting from Latin America. As a contributor to Business Week, he covered Argentina's 2001 financial collapse and rebirth. He then gained altitude moving to the Andes, tracking progress in the U.S.-backed war on drugs as a correspondent for The Associated Press. A U.S. citizen, Joshua graduated with a degree in European history from Columbia University. He braves Rio's maddening motorists and aggressive bus drivers on his daily bike commute to work.
