Maria Teresa Diniz
Architect and urban planner, she holds a master degree in Geography from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne. She has coordinated the Design Team at the São Paulo Municipal Housing Secretariat, leading a team of experts who have developed the design guidelines for slum upgrading and social housing projects. She has also occupied the position of Coordinator of Paraisópolis Slum Upgrading and Land-tenure Regularization Program. Currently, she is the Executive Coordinator of USP Cidades, a Center for research, development and dissemination of innovative solutions for urban management in Brazil.
