Over the last 30 years, Tania Cosentino has dedicated her career to the electric industrial segment. She has occupied several managerial positions and functions in different companies, which gave her a global and deep vision of the energy sector, its operations and trends.

Tânia joined Schneider Electric in 2000, as national sales manager for projects and services. Three years later, she was nominated sales director, and in 2009, she assumed the presidency of the Brazilian subsidiary, being the first Brazilian citizen and the first woman to have such position in Schneider Brazil’s history. In January 2013, she was promoted to President for the South America region.

One of her main missions as regional president is to assure Schneider Electric’s position as the leader in energy management and an innovative solutions provider to its targeted markets, such as residential, industrial, commercial, data centers, energy and infrastructure for smart cities. Moreover, she has the goal to incentive the development of differential and sustainable solutions that can add value to the company’s customer businesses.

The executive has a title of bachelor in Electrical Engineering from FESP – Faculdade de Engenharia de São Paulo, and has done several specialization courses in Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Business School São Paulo, Schneider University and IESE.
